Nestled in a quiet and authentic local neighborhood, yet a short walk to the MRT Blue Line, Grand Palace and Wat Arun , our location gives you the best of both worlds: convenience and calm.
Our Story
No.31 is a townhouse originally built in the 1980s, during a time when the Pinklao area was still dotted with open land and much quieter than it is today. About 14 years ago, the house was hit by the historic 2011 Thailand floods—one of the worst natural disasters in the country’s recent history. The flood affected over two-thirds of Thailand and lasted several months, with some areas under water for more than 150 days.
In Bangkok, entire neighborhoods were submerged. Streets turned into canals, and many residents had to trade their cars for boats to navigate their daily lives. At its peak, floodwaters entered No.31 and rose nearly one meter high. Daily routines were upended, and the community came together in extraordinary ways to adapt and support one another.
Our family eventually moved away, but this home remained close to our hearts. Recently, we decided to bring it back to life—completely renovating the space with care and intention to create a warm, welcoming retreat designed especially for guests like you.
